Armenian students win 8 medals at Applied Biology Olympiad
Armenian school students have clinched eight medals, including two gold, five silver and one bronze, at the 4th International Applied Biology Olympiad (IABO) held in Bali, Indonesia, on June 20-23.
More than one hundred students from Armenia, the U.S., Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal and the Philippines competed at the final round, the Armenian education ministry reported on Wednesday.
All eight students representing three educational institutions of Armenia won medals.
The Armenian team was led by Vahagn Gevorgyan, a biology teacher at Quantum College.
