Tavush for the Homeland calls for assembly in central Yerevan
The Tavush for the Homeland protest movement led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan calls on supporters to gather outside St. Anna Church in central Yerevan on Thursday evening to discuss two key issues.
The meeting will address the police violence against protesters outside the Armenian parliament on June 12, the inadequate response to it and its further steps.
The regional political situation, Azerbaijan’s plans for snap parliamentary elections and its promotion of the so-called “Western Azerbaijan” concept will also be discussed.
“As Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan said at the previous meeting, all important agendas for the country and people will be discussed and shaped during the gatherings outside St. Anna Church,” the movement said in a Telegram post.
