Armenian hospital head arrested on bribery charges
The head of the Ashtarak Medical Center in Armenia’s Aragatsotn Province has been arrested on bribery charges, the Anti-Corruption Committee reveals.
Anti-Corruption Committee spokesperson Marina Ohanjanyan told Panorama.am on Monday that two other persons were also charged with bribery as part of the criminal probe.
She said Ashtarak MC Director Argishti Hovhannisyan was charged with bribe-taking and assistance in receiving a bribe.
No other details were immediately available.
Sources tell Panorama.am that one of the two suspects is the bribe giver.
