Opposition MP blasts Armenian leadership's 'disgraceful' conduct
Opposition MP Tigran Abrahamyan called out the Armenian leadership for bowing to all demands put forward by Azerbaijan, including its refusal to campaign for the return of Armenians to Artsakh.
“Against the backdrop of the international community's calls to ensure the exercise of the Artsakh people’s right to return to their homes, Azerbaijan has once again pushed the so-called "Western Azerbaijan" false narrative referring to a significant part of Armenia's sovereign territory,” he wrote on Facebook on Thursday.
"Amid the Armenian government’s disgraceful conduct and conciliatory policy, the main tools to deter Azerbaijan have been set aside, while the Armenian leaders are only busy chasing after the initiatives of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
“The Armenian authorities refused to advocate the Artsakh Armenians’ repatriation to gain something from Azerbaijan, thus demonstrating their constant readiness to obey Baku," Abrahamyan penned.
