Azeri FM off to Washington for NATO summit
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has travelled to Washington to attend the NATO summit, Azerbaijani media reported on Tuesday.
Bayramov plans to hold several high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit scheduled for July 9-11.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan also paid a working visit to Washington to participate in the event with NATO partners on the sidelines of the NATO summit and other events marking the 75th anniversary of the organization, his ministry said in a statement.
"Bilateral meetings are also scheduled," it added.
Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan told RFE/RL’s Armenian Service that no meeting between the foreign ministers had been scheduled.
