MP hits out at Pashinyan for Azerbaijan's 'seizure' of Armenia
The talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan to clarify their shared border are either stalled or continue behind the scenes, claims opposition lawmaker Tigran Abrahamyan.
“After the surrender of territories in Baghanis, Voskepar and Kirants to Azerbaijan, Armenia's leader refuses to give any explanation why the border adjustment mechanism hasn't been agreed with Azerbaijan to date and, more importantly, why he ceded lands to Azerbaijan without a final agreement,” he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
The MP blamed Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for Azerbaijan’s “seizure of Armenia piece by piece” as a result of the border delimitation process.
"The ongoing process can hardly be called delimitation. It’s rather a process of capturing Armenia piece by piece, which the Civil Contract party leader is trying to portray in the light of the “balloon-barbed wire” operation," Abrahamyan added.
