SJC dismisses judge Artur Stepanyan
Armenia’s Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has dismissed Artur Stepanyan, a judge of Yerevan’s First Instance Civil Court of General Jurisdiction.
In a statement on Tuesday, the judicial watchdog said it had granted Justice Minister Grigor Minasyan’s request for disciplinary action against the judge accused of a grave disciplinary violation.
“The decision goes into effect immediately and is not subject to appeal,” the SJC said.
The state agency revealed that Stepanyan failed to comply with the deadlines to publish dozens of judgments on the official website of the judiciary and provide their copies to the trial parties.
