NATO strongly supports Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization, envoy says
NATO resolutely supports the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, talks aimed at establishing peace and the signing of a long-term peace agreement between the two countries, NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina told VOA Armenian Service on Friday.
He noted that he had contacts with the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in recent days.
"We support the efforts of the EU and the U.S., which are the main mediators in this process. We’re trying to push our partners to the right way, and for us the right way is to normalize the relationships because that will bring stability in the Caucasus," Colomina said.
