GM Haik Martirosyan wins silver at Biel Chess Festival
Armenian GM Haik Martirosyan finished second in the Chess960 tournament held on the sidelines of the Biel International Chess Festival 2024, the Armenian Chess Federation reported on Sunday.
The top three are as follows:
1st place: GM Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu
2nd place: GM Haik Martirosyan
3rd place: GM Vincent Keymer
The classical tournament kicks off on July 16.
The participants of the tournament include Haik Martirosyan, Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu, Vincent Keymer, Liem Le, Sam Shankland and Abhimanyu Mishra.
