Armenia beat Azerbaijan at FIBA U16 EuroBasket
Armenia's basketball team clinched a bronze medal at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2024, Division C.
Armenia claimed their spot on the podium by fighting past Azerbaijan 71-63 for third place on Sunday.
Rafayel Masumyan collected 20 points, 10 rebounds and 6 steals in helping Armenia reach the podium for a third time after winning the trophy in 2017 and taking second place in 2022.
Kosovo captured the title at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket by beating hosts Albania 101-61 for their first crown in this event.
