Armenian government refuses to provide coordinates of Tavush border posts
Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan’s office refuses to provide the coordinates of the border posts installed in Tavush Province, Sputnik Armenia reports.
The media outlet asked the Armenian government to share the coordinates back in May. The request was forwarded to Grigoryan’s office which promised to respond to it later, citing the ongoing border delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Later on July 1, Sputnik Armenia submitted another request to the deputy PM’s office, asking for the coordinates, as well as updates on the process of agreeing the regulations on the joint activity of the Armenian and Azeri border commissions expected to complete on the same day.
Despite the expiry of the deadline, Sputnik Armenia did not receive a response to its inquiry.
"All attempts to get verbal explanations from the office during this period were also unsuccessful," it added.
