Armenia win 2 bronze medals at International Biology Olympiad
Armenian school students clinched two bronze medals at the 35th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) held in Astana, Kazakhstan, on July 7-14.
The competition brought together a total of 305 students from of 81 countries, the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports reported.
Four students represented Armenia at the Biology Olympiad.
Tatev Simonyan, an 11th grader from the Quantum College, and Hakob Perikhanyan, a 12th grader from the Physics and Mathematics Specialized School after Artashes Shahinyan, bagged bronze medals.
