Pashinyan reportedly snubbed meeting with Aliyev in London
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan refused to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in London, Azerbaijani media quoted presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev as saying on Thursday.
The two leaders travelled to the UK to attend the fourth meeting of the European Political Community.
Hajiyev told reporters that the meeting was proposed by the UK.
“The Armenian prime minister's rejection of the meeting marks a backdown from the peace agenda," he added.
