Steve Zaillian's Netflix series nominated for 13 Emmys
Armenian-American filmmaker Steven Zaillian's Ripley has been nominated for 13 Emmys, the Armenian Film Society reports.
Ripley is a Netflix limited series created, written and directed by Steven Zaillian, which centers on a grifter who is drawn into a world of wealth and privilege after taking a unique job in Italy, but to seize the life he wants, he must build a web of lies.
Steven Zaillian is an Oscar-winning writer who has written films for directors such as Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, and David Fincher with credits that include films such as Schindler’s List, Gangs of New York, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Irishman.
Joanna Bush, who is Armenian on her mother’s side, is a concept artist on the series.
The Emmys are scheduled to take place on September 15, 2024.
