Armenian family of three killed in car crash
A family of three was killed in a car crash in Armenia early on Friday.
The family was travelling along the Gyumri-Vanadzor highway when their vehicle collided with another car shortly after midnight.
The driver and her wife died in the immediate wake of the crash, while their 7-year-old child was pronounced dead in the hospital.
The family lived in Armenia's second largest city of Gyumri, Oragir.News reported.
“They were from the Spitak community of Lori Province. Since the father was a military man serving in Gyumri, the family had resettled there. They got married about 10 years ago and their son, David, was 7 years old. Unfortunately, the boy died in the hospital,” one of their relatives told the media outlet.
