Radio program canceled for Armenian government criticism
The Status Quo program broadcast on the Armenian Public Radio was canceled following criticism of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s government, its host Gevorg Melikyan revealed on Tuesday.
The program had been broadcast live on the Public Radio for over eight years.
“The Council of Public Broadcaster led by Ara Shirinyan has canceled my Status Quo political and analytical program broadcast live on the Public Radio of Armenia since 1 April 2016 due to criticism of the Armenian government policies,” he wrote on Facebook.
