Armenian-Iranian culinary festival to be held in Syunik
The Navasard Armenian-Iranian Cultural Culinary Festival will be held in the town of Sisian in Armenia's Syunik Province on August 10.
This annual festival is a delightful fusion of Armenian and Iranian cultures, showcasing their rich heritage and cuisine.
During the festival, the Armenian and Iranian teams participating in the festival will prepare and present rich history and diverse flavors of their cuisines in beautifully decorated pavilions. Singing, dancing, music, works of art, handicrafts will be presented in the pavilions and music zones.
A competition will be organized in different categories and there will be an awarding ceremony at the end of the festival.
The festival is organized by the Armenian Tourism Federation and the Development and Preservation of Armenian Culinary Traditions NGO, with the support of the Tourism Committee of the Armenian Ministry of Economy and in cooperation with the Syunik regional administration, Sisian Municipality, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia and Iranian Consulate General in Kapan.
