Brown bear caught on camera in Armenian nature reserve
WWF Armenia’s trail cameras have captured a brown bear in the wilds of Khosrov Forest State Reserve in Ararat Province of Armenia.
The species is listed in the Red Book of Armenia and included in the IUCN Red List.
The availability of fruits, berries, and nuts as staple food items largely define the bear's distribution.
"Did you know? The brown bear is the only predatory animal that can go for extended periods without consuming animal prey," WWF Armenia said in a social media post.
