Armenian army chief attends Land Warfare Conference in London
The delegation led by Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, Armenia's First Deputy Defense Minister and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, participated in the annual Land Warfare Conference in London, the Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.
The conference, organized under the auspices of the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) of the United Kingdom, aimed to study the threats in the land domain of warfare, explore possible solutions, and examine partnership opportunities as well as the latest politico-military and industrial developments.
Within the framework of the conference, Asryan met with Chief of the General Staff of the British Army, General Sir Roland Walker.
The scope of cooperation between the two states in the field of defence and the possibilities for its further development and expansion were discussed.
