Armenian MP: Israel's allies also responsible for Middle East escalation
Israel’s strike that killed Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh inside Iranian territory was encouraged by the tacit or direct support from its allies, Armenian opposition MP Tigran Abrahamyan says.
"They don’t warn of serious consequences resulting from Israel’s operations in other countries. Moreover, they make no efforts to stop them and at the end of the day they heroically fight to prevent a conflict escalation,” he wrote on Facebook on Saturday.
“Israel's move to eliminate the Hamas leader in the heart of Iran could have been made elsewhere, on another occasion and in another country, but Tel Aviv took the most dangerous step, making the situation explosive. Israel's allies are also responsible for the unfolding extreme scenario," the MP stated.
