GM Haik Martirosyan competes at FIDE World Rapid Team Championship
FIDE World Rapid Team Championship 2024 is taking place in Astana, Kazakhstan, from August 2 to 5.
Leading Armenian chess player GM Haik Martirosyan is part of the Chessy team in the championship, the Armenian Chess Federation reports.
The team consists of GM Richard Rapport, GM Haik Martirosyan, GM Jorden Van Foreest, GM Vidit Santosh Gujrathi, GM Alexey Sarana, GM Koneru Humpy, IM Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus, GM Anna Muzychuk and Mukhtar Ainakul.
In the team-starting rank, Chessy is the 3rd place among 38 teams.
