Analyst: Politics being 'killed' in Armenia
Political analyst Suren Surenyants claims that Armenia’s political leaders are “killing” politics and political thought in the country.
"Why do Armenia's political leaders present themselves as “messiahs” to the public?” he wrote on Facebook on Monday.
“Pashinyan "modestly" compares himself to Jesus Christ, while the man [referring to Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan] calling the prime minister an “antichrist” claims to have been sent by the Lord.
“Leaving aside these mystical talks, it's simply a fact that politics and political thought are being collectively killed in Armenia.
“Pashinyan must certainly be ousted, but it’s possible only when his political "nakedness" is exposed through real theses,” the analyst stated.
