Armenia's SJC refuses to discipline judge Vahe Dolmazyan
Armenia’s Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) on Monday decided not to discipline Vahe Dolmazyan, a judge of the Anti-Corruption Court who is presiding over the trials of opposition politician Armen Ashotyan and former Defense Minister David Tonoyan.
The motion for disciplinary action against Dolmazyan had been filed by Justice Minister Grigor Minasyan, who accused the judge of misconduct.
Having examined the motion, the SJC found that the judge committed no violation of procedural norms.
