Azerbaijani envoy to NATO and his wife attacked in Brussels
Azerbaijani Ambassador to NATO Jafar Huseynzade and his wife were victims of a brutal robbery on Avenue Louise in Brussels on Monday afternoon, Azeri media reports, citing Brussels-based Sudinfo La Capitale.
Two robbers approached the couple on a scooter while they were out for a walk.
The victims were hit on the head with the butt of a revolver before two Rolex watches worth a total of 90,000 euros were taken from them.
As a result of the attack, the woman started bleeding profusely. The victims were taken to hospital. The Brussels prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation.
