Opposition MP: Peace impossible under current government in Armenia
Opposition lawmaker Tigran Abrahamyan has rejected the false promises of peace made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s administration, stating the government propaganda is aimed at securing victory in snap or regular elections.
In a social media post on Tuesday, Abrahamyan stated in addition to other promises, the ruling Civil Contract party leaders put the “fake peace” with Azerbaijan at the core of its propaganda.
“Along the way, the authorities resort to bluffing, making behind-the-scenes deals and misleading the people in an effort to make them believe their lies for a while,” the MP wrote.
“Peace will never be achieved under the current government," he added.
