Pregnant woman gives birth after ambulance crash in Armenian city
A pregnant woman has successfully given birth after an ambulance carrying her was involved in a traffic crash in Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri on Wednesday morning.
The ambulance collided with an Opel at the intersection of Garegin Nzhdeh and Proshyan Streets at around 9:50am. The ambulance doctor, nurse, pregnant women in the car and the Opel driver were taken to Gyumri Medical Center with injuries following the accident.
The mother and her baby are doing well, Armenian Health Ministry spokeswoman Mariam Tsatryan told Panorama.am.
“The lives of those hospitalized are out of danger,” she added.
