Azerbaijan falsely accuses Armenia of border shooting
The Defense Ministry of Armenia has rejected Azerbaijan's false reports of cross-border fire.
"The statement disseminated by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry alleging that on September 11 at around 10:50 a.m. units of the Armenian armed forces fired against the Azerbaijani combat positions located in the western part of the border does not correspond to reality," the ministry said.
"Notably, the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia has proposed the establishment of a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations and/or related cases, to which Azerbaijan has not yet responded," the statement added.
