Judge naps at Hrayr Tovmasyan's trial
The judge presiding over the trial of former Constitutional Court chair Hrayr Tovmasyan napped at a court hearing on Thursday.
Judge Tatevik Grigoryan fell asleep while Tovmasyan, who currently serves as a judge of the top court, offered substantiations for the dismissal of the criminal charges against him and the termination of his prosecution.
Tovmasyan and his attorney Aram Orbelyan “woke her up”, asking for a short break. The judge rejected the proposal, adding a recess would be announced shortly afterwards.
