Chess Olympiad: Armenian teams celebrate 2nd victory
The Armenian national teams on Thursday scored another confident victory in the 45th FIDE Chess Olympiad, the Chess Federation reported.
In the 2nd round of the olympiad, the women's team beat the Mexican team with a score of 4-0.
IM Lilit Mkrtchian, WIM Mariam Mkrtchyan, GM Elina Danielian and IM Anna Sargsyan played on Thursday.
The men's team beat the Andorran team with a score of 3-1.
GM Haik Martirosyan and GM Karen Grigoryan won their games.
The games of GM Shant Sargsyan and GM Robert Hovhannisyan ended in a draw.
