Opposition MP remembers 2nd anniversary of Azeri attack on Armenia
Opposition lawmaker Tigran Abrahamyan took to social media to commemorate the second anniversary of Azerbaijan’s deadly attack on Armenia on September 13.
He recalled that Azeri forces captured several strategic positions and heights as well as took control of key infrastructure inside Armenia during the two-day offensive, gaining a stronger advantage in the negotiation process with Armenia.
“Armenia suffered more than 200 casualties as a result of the attack,” he wrote.
“The Armenian government’s conciliatory and defeatist policy is partly attributed to the severe consequences of the Azerbaijani aggression,” Abrahamyan added.
