An Aeroflot airline flying from Yerevan to Moscow was forced to make an emergency landing in Astrakhan, a city in southern Russia, last night.

Anastasia Golodova, a representative of the Astrakhan airport where the plane landed, explained that one of the passengers fell ill on flight, Vesti reported.

The passenger was taken off the flight and transported to a medical center in the city. The plane later continued its flight to Moscow.
