Opposition MP: Armenian authorities 'greenlighted' Azeri attack on Artsakh
Opposition lawmaker Tigran Abrahamyan accused the Armenian authorities of attempting to provoke a conflict among the Artsakh Armenians ahead of the first anniversary of Azerbaijan’s massive attack on Artsakh and its takeover.
“The Armenian authorities have mobilized their forces in order to shift the blame for what happened to Artsakh to the Artsakh people, hiding as much as possible those who renounced Artsakh and surrendered it,” he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday, adding some people could “fall into their trap”.
“Meanwhile, the Armenians leaders, who recognized Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan, silently watched the blockade of Artsakh and gave the green light to the Azerbaijani aggression are now enjoying the process of shifting the responsibility for their crime to others,” Abrahamyan wrote.
