Armenia won't miss any realistic chance of becoming EU member, Pashinyan says
Armenia will not miss any realistic opportunity to to become a full member of the European Union, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Wednesday.
Speaking at the Second Global Armenian Summit, he outlined several key factors influencing Armenia’s potential EU membership, including Georgia-EU, Turkey-EU and Armenia-Turkey relations.
“If we see a realistic opportunity to become a full member of the European Union while managing the potential risks along the way, we will definitely seize that opportunity,” the premier remarked.
Pashinyan highlighted that Armenia seeks to increase trade both with the EU and the EAEU, as well as other markets, with efforts underway to diversify its economy through cooperation with EU and U.S. partners.
