Hrayr Tovmasyan's trial continues
The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Yerevan’s Kentron district on Wednesday continued hearings on the trial of Hrayr Tovmasyan, a former justice minister and chairman of Armenia's Constitutional Court.
Tovmasyan, who was removed from his post as Constitutional Court chair following constitutional amendments in 2020 but continued to serve as its judge, has been charged with abuse of power related to alleged real estate fraud rejected by him as politically motivated.
The trial judge is Tatevik Grioryan.
