Struggle 'unequivocal choice' in Armenia, protest leader says
Struggle in Armenian is an “unequivocal choice”, says Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of a protest movement aimed at ousting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's government and stopping territorial concessions to Azerbaijan.
In a video on Friday, Galstanyan pointed to tactical changes in the Holy Struggle movement following his consultations with various political groups.
“I’ve assumed its leadership and will keep fighting until victory is achieved,” the protest leader said.
Galstanyan urged all to join a meeting at Yerevan’s Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex on September 22.
“It marks the beginning of the end. It’s time for us to unite forces. I’m looking forward to meeting you all,” he added.
