Opposition MP: Pashinyan ready for any 'sacrilege' to stay in power
Opposition MP Artsvik Minasyan accused Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of attempting to discredit fallen soldiers.
Speaking to reporters in Yerevan’s Yerablur Military Pantheon on the 33rd Independence Day of Armenia on Saturday, Minasyan rejected Pashinyan’s latest criticism of the prevailing model of patriotism in Armenia.
“Nikol Pashinyan has essentially nothing to do with patriotism. Moreover, he is attempting to discredit all heroes who fell defending the Armenian people and statehood,” the MP said.
“In order to justify his defeats and cover up his betrayals, Nikol Pashinyan is ready for any sacrilege in an effort to maintain his grip on power and ensure the well-being of his associates,” he added.
