Archbishop: Armenian people must reaffirm the ‘Yes’ they said in 1991
Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the Holy Struggle movement, congratulated the people of Armenia on their Independence Day marked annually on September 21.
“We must reaffirm the “Yes” we said in 1991,” the archbishop said in his message.
“Today, there will definitely be a lot of heartfelt messages, but there will also be many statements full of lies, falsity and pharisaism,” the cleric stated.
“And all this comes at a time when our joy and dignity have been stolen from us, when we’ve lost Artsakh, when the sons of the Armenian people and Artsakh’s military and political leaders are being held captive in Azerbaijan,” he stressed.
