Days of Armenian Culture to be held in China
Days of Armenian Culture will be launched in China on September 27 to run through October 27, the president of the Armenian-Chinese Partnership Center NGO, Armen Mkhitaryan, told reporters on Monday.
The event will be held at the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area of the Great Wall of China where some 45,000 tourists visit daily.
Armenia will be provided with a separate pavilion outside and inside the Great Wall section to showcase its culture, arts and goods, including wines, as well as tourism industry.
More Armenian cultural events are expected to be held in other Chinese cities in one year starting from late September.
“In the past eight months alone, three exhibitions were organized in China, attracting around 1.3 million Chinese visitors,” Mkhitaryan said.
