Groundbreaking ceremony for monument to fallen Artsakh soldiers held at Yerablur
The groundbreaking ceremony for a memorial honoring fallen Artsakh soldiers, as well as the victims of a fuel depot explosion in Artsakh in 2023, was held at Yerevan’s Yerablur Military Pantheon on Tuesday.
The Call of Artsakh monument will be six meters tall and will have minimalist design, its architect Mikayel Sargsyan said at the ceremony.
"This will be a sanctuary for the people of Artsakh," the architect noted.
The monument will be built with the funding provided by an Artsakh Armenian who preferred to stay anonymous.
The construction work will be coordinated by Artsakh Interior Minister Karen Sargsyan.
