Top court judge comments on Armenian-Azeri border agreement
Constitutional Court judge Hrayr Tovmasyan says the regulations for joint activities of the Armenian and Azerbaijan border commissions include “controversial issues”.
The two countries signed an agreement laying out the principles of delimiting the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in late August.
The Armenian top court on Tuesday began debates to determine the compliance of the regulations with Armenia’s constitution.
Speaking to reporters outside the court, Tovmasyan said he would make observations on the border agreements during the court debates.
"Naturally, I see some controversial issues but I will bring them up in the deliberations room," the judge said.
