Political analyst 'shocked' by Pashinyan's UN speech
Political analyst Suren Surenyants lambasted Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s “shocking” speech at the UN Summit of the Future in New York on Monday.
“Nikol Pashinyan attended the Summit of the Future within the framework of the 79th General Assembly in New York and delivered a “brilliant” speech there,” Surenyants said in a Telegram post.
“I've been left shocked because it beats me how the leader of a country facing so many problems could use the UN podium to launch cheap propaganda and an election campaign,” the analyst wrote.
“I don't understand how Pashinyan could urge world leaders to put reality aside and live in a world of fantasy. The man who destroyed Artsakh and brought Armenia to the brink of collapse is now offering his model to the world which is indeed an "extraordinary" and "historic" event,” Surenyants added.
