Opposition MP comments on photo of Pashinyan holding Erdogan's book
Opposition deputy Levon Kocharyan, the son of second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, has reacted to a photo which shows Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posing with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's book following their meeting in New York.
Erdogan presented his book "A Fairer World is Possible" to Pashinyan at the meeting held on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.
Levon Kocharyan shared regional security expert Varuzhan Geghamyan’s post regarding the photo on Facebook.
“We live in funny times when it is problematic to be photographed with the book of Robert Kocharyan who liberated Artsakh, while a photo of the smiling prime minister next to the Turkish leader, who attacked Armenia and is currently preparing a new offensive, with his propaganda book in his hands is an example of ‘skillful diplomacy’,” reads the post.
