Opposition MP blames Pashinyan's government for 2020 war defeat
Opposition deputy Tigran Abrahamyan accused Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's government of deliberately leading the country to defeat in the 2020 Artsakh war before Artsakh’s complete surrender to Azerbaijan.
“Nikol Pashinyan's confession his fault was that he was not sincere with the public in 2018 and did not say that he saw Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan indicates that no goal was set to win the 2020 war and defeat was guaranteed,” he wrote on Facebook on Friday.
“The government deliberately led the country to defeat, not only by surrendering Artsakh, but also by making Armenia vulnerable. This subsequently paved the way for Azerbaijani aggression against different parts of Armenia and led to numerous casualties,” the MP added.
