Armenian FM: Azerbaijan lacks political will to sign agreed part of peace deal
Armenian Foreign Minister Mirzoyan claimed that Azerbaijan lacks the political will to sign the agreed part of a peace deal with Armenia.
“There are serious concerns that Azerbaijan has further military plans regarding Armenia and its territories. For example, nowadays Azerbaijan uses the narrative of “Western Azerbaijan” which basically coincides with almost the whole territory of the Republic of Armenia,” Mirzoyan said at an interview on the sidelines of the Warsaw Security Forum on Wednesday.
“They assure us that this is not a territorial claim, but the impression is completely different. I am not confident about the peaceful plans of Azerbaijan,” the minister added.
