Armenian government OKs purchase of 22 pickup trucks for eco-patrol service
The Armenian government on Thursday approved the purchase of 22 pickup trucks worth 509.5 million drams for the new eco-patrol service.
The vehicles will be used to monitor reserves and national parks in Syunik Province, including the Zangezur Biosphere Complex, Deputy Minister of Environment Tigran Gabrielyan said at the cabinet meeting.
A total of 142 pickup trucks are planned to be purchased for monitoring in seven provinces.
