Azerbaijan makes more demands to Armenia
Azerbaijani presidential advisor Hikmet Hajiyev said Armenia should investigate "war crimes" against the Azerbaijanis killed during the wars in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and punish those responsible for their deaths.
"Armenia should demonstrate its genuine commitment to transitional justice and post conflict reconciliation by acknowledging state responsibility for all of these crimes and investigate and punish all war criminals accordingly," he posted on X on Thursday.
Hajiyev echoed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's earlier statements calling on Armenia to "punish those responsible for atrocities" against Azerbaijanis "if Armenia really wants to achieve peace with Azerbaijan."
