Two injured, including child, in major car crash in Yerevan
A five-vehicle crash left two injured, including a child, in Yerevan, Armenia, late on Friday.
The crash involving BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, Nissan and Toyota cars occurred on Teryan Street in central Yerevan, the Rescue Service of Armenia’s Interior Ministry reported.
One fire and rescue crew responded to the accident after a report filed at 10:16pm.
Before the arrival of rescuers, the Suzuki passengers identified by their initials as I.D. (born in 1993) and H.H. (born in 2022) had been hospitalized.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
