Armenia refuses to join two statements at CIS meeting
Armenia refused to endorse two statements adopted at a meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Moscow on Monday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
The ministry spokeswoman, Ani Badalyan, told Lurer that Armenia did not sign up to the statements on the "Principles of Ensuring Security in Eurasia" and "The Inadmissibility of Unilateral Measures in International Relations", without giving any reason for Yerevan’s decision.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan travelled to Russia on Monday to attend the CIS ministerial meeting held ahead of a meeting of the CIS leaders.
