Pashinyan and Aliyev asked about peace deal dates in Moscow
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday attended the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit in Moscow.
On the sidelines of the summit, a journalist from the Russian Telegram channel Shot asked Pashinyan and Aliyev about the peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the possible dates for the conclusion of a bilateral peace agreement.
The journalist first asked Aliyev when the two countries could sign the treaty. "When everything is agreed upon," Aliyev responded briefly.
When asked for his thoughts on the matter, Pashinyan said that he had already presented his proposal for a peace deal.
"I believe the current terms are sufficient for the treaty to be signed immediately," Pashinyan added.
