Kocharyan declines to answer 'strange' question about Pashinyan and Sargsyan
Second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan refused to answer a “strange” question about Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and former President Serzh Sargsyan.
“Mr. Kocharyan, is it acceptable to you that Nikol Pashinyan remains in power or that Serzh Sargsyan and his team return?” a reporter asked Kocharyan after a court hearing on his trial on Friday.
“I simply have no desire to answer strange questions. Narek, do you think there is common sense in it or is it just stupidity? My apologies, but such a logical chain is nonsense,” he said.
Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Court on Friday resumed Kocharyan's trial over the March 2008 post-election unrest in Yerevan.
